Together with my group (8 women from Poland) we spent a beautiful and active time with Redoune. He took great care of us. He was kind, friendly, professional guide. The trip to High Atlas was amazing. He was helpful and gave us as much time as we needed. I highly recommend his service.

Marrakech, Imi Oughlad, Tinzert
Marrakech to Tinzert
Picked up from your Marrakech accommodation, you drive south to the foothills of the High Atlas, reaching Imi Oughlad (about 1,450m). Here you meet your local Berber guide and muleteer, then set off on foot through the peaceful Ouirgane National Park: gentler terrain than the higher peaks, with juniper forest and copper-and-green hillsides. You pass traditional Berber settlements before reaching the rural village of Tinzert, where you spend the night in a gîte with a home-cooked Moroccan dinner.

Tinzert, Azzaden Valley, Ait Aissa
Into the Azzaden Valley
Continue deeper into the mountains along the magnificent Azzaden Valley, one of the most remote in the region, walking beside a lively mountain stream through walnut groves, terraced fields and Berber villages, with views towards Mount Toubkal from a distance. You reach the peaceful village of Ait Aissa, where you spend the night in a village gîte with a home-cooked dinner.

Ait Aissa, Tizi n'Mzik Pass, Imlil, Marrakech
Over Tizi n'Mzik Pass to Imlil and Marrakech
An ascent out of the Azzaden Valley climbs gradually towards Tizi Oussem, then on to the Tizi n'Mzik Pass (2,489m), the highest point of the trek, with sweeping views over the surrounding peaks and valleys. From the pass you descend into the lush Mizane Valley, past terraced fields, villages and orchards, to Imlil. After lunch there, you're driven back to Marrakech.
